1. Use a diary or planner to:
keep track of
every assignment's due date
pace
your workload
stay
on track
2. Studying in the same location every night may improve your organisational
skills.
3. Find a quiet place to study - ask others to turn down the music
and television. Even if you like to study with music, there maybe times
when you will study better in a quieter environment.
4. Make sure the room temperature of the room you are studying
in is comfortable, fresh air is also important.
5. Sit on a comfortable chair when studying.
6. Keep materials like paper, pens, pencils, rulers, and calculators
nearby., but avoid a cluttered workspace.
7. Work in a well-lit area.
8. It may help to complete homework of your least favourite subject
first.
9. Take 5-minute breaks to relax your brain, stretching exercises
also relieve muscle tension.
10. Finish your homework as early as possible to relieve stress.
11. Get at least 8 hours sleep each night to make sure you're refreshed
for the next day, especially when you have an exam or test.
12. File old assignments in folders, a filing cabinet or old binder.
You will find them useful to refer to study for a test or even refer
to for a similar assignment another year.
13. Finish your homework on time. This builds a great reputation
with your teachers.
14. Feel free to ask your teacher questions before, during, and
after class. That's what your teacher is there for!
15. Don't study if you are feeling hungry.
16. Ask your parents, friends, and teachers for any help you need. |
